The Future Leadership Institute organizes a series of lunches, seminars and conferences to bring together university and industry.
On Monday 30 May 2016 The Future Leadership Institute invited International New York Times Distribution Operations Director Davy Drieghe to speak informally to students from Thomas More University College and professionals from TV production company Red Pepper Media during a lunch hosted by Red Pepper Media at their premises in Leuven, Belgium.
Mr Drieghe has previoulsy worked for The Wall Street Journal Europe in their Brussels office and The International Herald Tribune in their Paris office. Currently he works for The International New York Times in their Hong Kong office.
The goal of the lunch was to enlight media students and media professionals about working in international operations in the newspaper business as well as to explain what it means to live and work in Hong Kong.
